Dr. Z. Ertunç Şirin is a distinguished legal advisor and academic, with over 30 years of experience in tax law, customs law, administrative and procurement law, and regulatory compliance. He has represented domestic and international clients across contentious and non-contentious matters, particularly in international arbitration and transnational litigation. His practice bridges academic rigor with strategic advisory, shaped by nearly three decades of teaching, publishing, and consulting.

Ertunç has substantial experience advising sponsors and investors on tax and legal structuring of investment platforms and fund vehicles, including alternative models that align with Turkish regulatory and fiscal frameworks. His work often spans the full lifecycle of corporate and fund investments—from entry structuring and compliance alignment to dispute resolution and risk mitigation.
